Teacher Bios

Mr. Plescia

This is Mr. Plescia's 12th year at Redwood High School. He attended 3 different colleges: Sacramento State, San Francisco State, and Dominican to get his social studies, teachers, and masters degrees. Mr. Plescia is married to Ms. Plescia and they have two daughters. In his free time, Mr. Plescia enjoys skiiing, golfing, and occasionally playing tennis. He also likes to watch his favorite teams (the Giants and the 49ers) when they play on TV. He also coached RHS baseball for five years. Mr. Plescia currently has a fish named Blue and greatly enjoys rock ballads of the 80's. He also thinks Katy Perry is incredible!

 Mrs. Madden

 

Mrs. Madden has spent 4 and a half years teaching at Redwood High School. She graduated Terra Linda Highschool went to San Diego State to get her English BA then went to University of Dominican to get her teaching credentials. Mrs. Madden enjoys hiking and biking with her husband, her son in kindengarten, and her other son in 1st grade. She is also expecting a daughter next semester. She decided to become involved in leadership because she wanted to help students have a voice outside of the classroom enviroment and use their creativity to get involved in the school. Oddly enough Mrs. Madden attended both TL and Dominican with Mr. Plescia.
