COUNSELING

The Tamalpais Union High School District Counseling Program provides the academic, career, and personal/ social development necessary to ensure that students are successful both in school and in life. School counseling is a specialized service provided by credentialed school counselors that assist students in resolving emotional, social or behavior problems and help them develop a clearer focus or sense of direction. Counselors at each school fully engage in providing students with a unique network of emotional and instructional support services that results in students feeling safe, having better relationships with teachers, understanding that education is relevant and important to their future, experiencing positive interpersonal relationships and earning higher grades.
