COMMUNITY SERVICEOPPORTUNITIES

The Italian StreetPainting in San Rafael is in need of volunteers to help from June 26^thto July 1^st.  You can helpwith stenciling, selling products, helping with visitors, working in the foodand beverage area, staffing entrance and parking.  Shifts are 4 hours minimum between 7 am – 10pm.  All volunteers will receive a t-shirt andlunch if your shift is 5 hours or more. Please contact Crystal Sullivan at (415)884-2423 orCrystal@italianstreetpaintingmarin.org

Bridge the GapCollege Prep is partnering with Marin City Recreation Department SummerCamp  are looking for volunteers to helpwith  a literacy program, Little Readersand.  If you think you might have sometime this summer to help please contact Jennifer Nichols at jnichols@btgcollegeprep.org or415-816-3258

Summer Ade islooking for Marin teens to help make a difference in the life of a child withmild disabilities.  Summer Ade pairs achild with mild disabilities and a volunteer teen who aids their charge for aweek at a summer camp in Marin by helping them navigate activities, facilitatesocial interactions, and enjoy all the day camp has to offer.  Training provided.  Access information at www.SummerAde.org

Looking for somecommunity service hours?  Grab somefriends, head up to the top of Mount Tam and help set up for the MountainPlay.  Earn 4 hours of community serviceper day and watch “The Sound of Music” for free.  Help set up at the mountain theatre on May18, 19, or 26 or June 2, 8, 9, or 16 from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.  Some heavy lifting and walking steps may berequired.  Space is limited to 5volunteers per show and sign up is required. Please contact Natalie Reimer at Natalie@MountainPlay.org to sign upor for more information.
