I enjoy riding bicycles (mountain, road, single speed, commuter), trail running, backcountry snowboarding, backpacking, traveling, movies, and of course, reading.

I previously worked in Information Technology and left Deloitte LLP to change my career and the future by becoming a teacher. I completed my teacher credential program at Dominican University in English, Special Education, and Multiple Subjects (elementary). I have completed the NOLS Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course and Pacific Northwest Trip Leader course,and studied nutrition and fitness for athletic performance.
